Overlooking fifty miles of the Malibu and Santa Monica bays,the Benjamin Residence is a two-story structure with a detached three-car garage/ workshop/ guesthouse building. Three rectangular prisms constitute the design, the central prism a 22-foot high glass volume slipping between the other two. The vaulted roof of the two-story garage/ workshop /guesthouse building provides a geometric contrast to the straight intersecting rectangular shapes.
