Rainbow Bridge Wins ENR National Best of the Best Award
Engineering News-Record has announced their annual Best of the Best Project Awards, and we are pleased to share that our Long Beach Seaside Way Pedestrian Bridge—a.k.a. Rainbow Bridge—has been named the Best of the Best in the Landscape & Urban Development category. Previously recognized by ENR California in both the Landscape/Urban Development category and as the Southern Californian project of the year, a new panel of 13 judges chose the Rainbow Bridge for the national honor from among the nine other regional winners. In total 20 projects received Best of the Best distinction from an initial pool of over 800. The winning projects will be featured in ENR's national March 11th issue—with one being revealed as the Project of the Year—and an Award of Excellence gala is scheduled for March 21st at the Chelsea Piers in New York City.
