A Bronze House on Nightingale Wins an AIA|LA Residential Architecture Award

We are very excited to announce that our latest Bird Streets residence, A Bronze House on Nightingale, has won its first award.

The Bronze House was recognized by the AIA Los Angeles with a Residential Architecture Merit Award in the Single Family Residential – Large category.

The jury applauded the project's exploration of "the theme of light and the expressive potential offered by surfaces to screen or diffuse natural light," and unique design gestures, including how the "entrance’s sides are folded to collect the gradations in equal measure to those of the roof."

This was the sixth iteration of the AIA Los Angeles Residential Architecture Awards program, founded to recognize Los Angeles’ influence on residential design.
